How Do I Get Started?

You will receive your meals in microwavable containers. Your meals are labeled and will include ‘enjoy by date’ posted on the label. Immediately refrigerate meals until ready for use.

How do I prepare my meals?

The meals are packaged in microwave safe containers.

To heat: Pop the lid and lay it loosely over the container, place the container in the microwave and heat for 2 minutes. The meals are fully cooked so all you have to do is heat and eat!!

Why is Healthy Coast Meals a Healthy Option?

Our motto is “its not a diet, it’s a lifestyle”. We are committed to providing you with an easy way to eat clean. Cooking with natural, whole ingredients helps you stay healthy and beats any type of convenience food, frozen food or fast food. Preparing your meals with fresh ingredients ensures important nutrients aren’t lost. We avoid heavy sauces, cheeses, refined sugar, and saturated fats that add calories but little to no nutritional value. We also avoid processed foods that don’t provide health benefits. We believe when healthy food is convenient and enjoyable it’s easier to stay on track. Our goal is to provide long term health benefits rather than short term weight loss.

What is the fat content in your food?

The fats in our food are healthy, monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats found naturally in the ingredients themselves. In our meal preparation we use very small amounts of pure organic olive oil, organic coconut oil, organic grape seed, organic sesame oil, and ghee depending on the recipe.

All of the nutritional content is listed on our website as well as on the packaged label.

How long will the food keep?

Every meal has an “enjoy by” date posted on its label. Your meals should last between 5-7 days if refrigerated properly. If you plan on eating them beyond “enjoy by” date we recommend freezing them.

What if I have a food allergy?

If you suffer from food allergies, we encourage you to contact us ahead of time as we are happy to address any questions or concerns you may have and inform you which meals are allergen free. We place allergen warnings on our meals that contain wheat, gluten, eggs, dairy, tree nuts and shellfish. Please tell us during the ordering process about any food allergies and we will make the necessary changes.

Can you suggest a meal plan?

Absolutely! Our owner has a Fitness Nutrition Certification and can provide you with a customized meal plan based on your desired goal or dietary needs. Email us for meal plan info and rates. Just let us know you if would like some help and we will be more than happy to make it happen.

Food Safety . . .
  • All of our meals are prepared in a certified commercial kitchen.
  • We use fresh, high-quality ingredients to ensure our meals meet high standards of taste and nutrition.
  • Each meal is portioned, packaged and stored in refrigerators to ensure controlled, food-safe temperatures.
  • Meal temperatures are checked with a laser thermometer to ensure safety.
  • Our chefs are certified in food safety and handling.
  • Meals are delivered to individuals in an insulated cooler packed with ice packs. Meals delivered to pick up locations are kept in an insulated cooler until picked up and should be placed in a refrigerator by the customer.

What do I do with the cooler and ice packs?

Coolers and ice packs are a crucial part of our delivery process, which is why it is so important for us to collect a cooler each time we deliver to you. We charge a one-time, refundable rental fee of $10 for the insulated cooler and ice packs the first time you place an order with us. While you are using our service, you will stay in possession of one cooler and one set of ice packs. Each time you receive a delivery, please place the previous order’s cooler and ice packs outside of your door. If you pick up at a location please return your cooler and ice packs from your previous order when you pick up your next order.

Each time we deliver your order, we will drop off a new cooler with new ice packs and pick up the cooler and ice packs from the previous order left out for us. If you do not leave your cooler and ice packs out prior to our delivery, we will automatically charge $5 to your credit card on file.

If you’d like to pause your orders for an extended period of time, we will refund 100 percent of the deposit upon receiving the cooler and ice packs from your last delivery.  You can drop off the bag and ice packs at our location or a pickup location for a full refund.

We want our service to be as convenient and simple as possible. The satisfaction of our customers is our #1 priority. If you are unsure about any aspect of our delivery service or the insulated cooler and ice packs pickup terms, please contact us by phone or email. We understand some deliveries entail unique situations, and we are happy to discuss and accommodate special requests regarding deliveries or the insulated cooler bag pickup.
